“Learn First Aid!
That’s the message we would like to extend to the community today following a spike in water related incidents around our beaches and swimming pools. In the past 24 hours, our paramedics assisted more than twelve people across the state who drowned or nearly drowned, some who required CPR to be performed by community members before our paramedics arrived.
We encourage everyone to attend an accredited first aid course and CPR Charts are available to download from our website at www.ambulance.nsw.gov.au
Remember, In a medical emergency dial Triple Zero (000) and ask for Ambulance.”
