Masterchef contestant and current Channel Ten Ironman reporter, Hayden Quinn, has talked about the importance of learning CPR. Quinn talks to The Daily Telegraph as part of the paper’s campaign for mandatory CPR and First Aid training in schools. Quinn, a former Warringah Council beach lifeguard, commented that learning CPR is not just to help out in drowning emergencies. He said “It’s mum or dad having a heart attack, grandpa having a stroke. You’ve got to know how to maintain an airway, maintain circulation and keep that blood flowing … until help arrives.”
